3 (who?)

Look who I found on Deviantart with the same nick and birthdate and a profile image stolen from :iconcarlosgomezartist: Ninja sketch commission by CarlosGomezArtist ... with the signature erased of course...

Thanks to the past plagarism of one "Mr. Legitomite", people are a lot quicker to confront and take down these hacks.

I am pretty sure the speed in which this article came up on Bleeding Cool demonstrates that artists and their fans are a tight knit and connected group now.…

Dude got his etsy site wiped - he has a twitter btw!/snickers19510

Got this brought to my attention, so spread the word.

ART THEFT!!!ART FRAUD! Check this guy out. He's taking work from other artists, claiming it as his own and then selling prints of them on Not only is he claiming these pieces of art as his own but he whites-out the artists signature to hide evidence of it being anything but his own original creation. He has one of my pieces for sale in his store as well as art from several other illustrators that he apparently "admires". He's also written a little bio about his talent and how hard he has worked to get his skills where they are at. This kind of behavior will not be tolerated and we will hit you hard.
Art theif's Etsy store:

:iconsquirrelshaver: found one of their pieces being sold by this a$$hole… - sig was deleted as well by the seller.

Right off the bat I saw one of the images was done by Francis Manapul.

I hate these guys...

Damn! you made me give that bastard a page view. I bet that's the only reason why his got around 140 something page views anyway. Never mind, I made sure to check out the original's page as well. :)

Damn these guys are stupid. They must think that without the artist signature, people will buy from them. EEDIOTS!

One person could be a bad artist (I am hehehehe) but the less you need is to respect the people who are great artists and their work. Specially if you say you "admire" them. This kind of thieves are people who do not deserve respect

PS: sorry by my "google" English.

Sometimes I think this stuff should be done with discretion =/ I know you mean well by spreading awareness. But now you've probably got an army of people stalking this guy and harassing him. Not saying what he did was right, but the internet can be a cruel place and people are ruthless when they think they are anonymous. This can backfire on those thinking they're serving justice, and it's only stooping them down to his level.

Similar has been done with Chad Lieberman. He's stolen hundreds of pieces from people and attempted to sell them. So many people are on his ass, people have even posted the phone number and address to his work place (which is completely unnecessary).
