Dirty minds see dirty images... *update at bottom*

It has been said that the human mind can imagine things a lot more detailed when it has to fill in the blanks.

Being shown something in plain view, our brains just process it as "something".

But when we are looking at something that is either censored, out of view, or concealed, our brains are boggled with the possibilities of what is being hidden - the imagination takes over and it can be "anything"!


That is why naughty images which are censored seem naughtier.

The off-screen monster which we can't see seems scarier.

The Christmas present which is wrapped seems more special.


With that being said...

Does that means if an image is offensive to someone, even though nothing is being shown, they are thinking more dirtier thoughts than others?


I have to admit that an image of lightly concealed female nude - using clothing or body positioning - can seem a little more erotic to me than a flat out photo of a naked woman.

So... does that mean this image of a redhead wearing a semi-transparent gown is more erotic to people who are already thinking very dirty thoughts?

Are they already associating her with another redhead that they have a obsession with that she happens to bear a passing resemblance to?

Could be...

... but that means the issues that are having is not with the image, but in their own mind.



BTW, I got another image deleted from the gallery today, so this is a kind of save point for this occurrence... let's see what happens now...

Head's up other artists, the new character under "special care" seems to be TyLee this round.

Not reposting this one on the blogspot because it was a commission.
