*UPDATE* was supposed to be a dozen for each!
*ANOTHER UPDATE* see link at the bottom for the list of characters!

Welcome to the ultimate throwdown between Marvel and DC.

Both universes have a robot than can emulate/assimilate the powers and abilities of any hero they meet and can combine them to form the ultimate enemy (Super Adaptoid/Marvel and Amazo/DC)... but what happens when these two robots meet each other?

.. and to add as a bonus twist, these are the females versions of those robots and they have adapted the powers/weapons of TWELVE females heroes/villains in their respective universes.

In the Marvel corner is SUPRA ADAPTOID

In the DC corner we have AMAZETTE

Now for the fun....

(hit Download for a larger view)

Can you name the 12 female heroes/villains of each universe that has been assimilated into their respective robot?

For Supra, I recognize Pepper Potts/Rescue (the boots), Thor Girl/Tarene (The wings on the head and the hammer), Valkyrie (the breast covers), Ms. Marvel (The swimsuit costume), Jessica Drew Spider-Woman (The mask and underarm wings), X-23 (the claws), Red She-Hulk (the hair), Phyla-Vell Quasar (Quantum Bands), Hepzibah (Tail), Titania (arm spikes), Black Widow (belt), Invisible Woman (force field)

For Amazette, I recognize Catwoman (whip, goggles), Hawkgirl/Hawkwoman (wings), Big Barda (Mega-Rod), Wonder Woman (magic lasso), Black Canary (sonic scream), Harley Quinn (wrist cuffs), Mera (scaly pants), Power Girl (the top), Supergirl (S emblem), Star Sapphire (The violet power ring), Ravager (the boots), and that's it.

Amazette is going to lose. Sorry.

The Supra Adaptoid has the powers of Squirrel Girl. And Squirrel Girl can beat anyone.

But the fight is going to be fun, and I for one plan to sit back with popcorn.

Huh... I did not know Marvel had an entity like that too...

Oh wait X-23 on Supra Adaptoid, I missed that.
Jowain92 Featured By Owner Apr 24, 2012  Student Writer
Let's see... I believe that Amazette is composed of:
Catwoman, Power Girl, Super Girl, Wonder Woman, Banshee...I think the characters name is... (I don't know, I know there are at least two characters with a scream power)...

I can only make out Black Widow on Supra Adaptoid... guess I should read more Marvel some of my favorite character are there after all.

Otherwise great picture, they look really cool :)

Hey, "Poe". The characters above are both awesome concepts. I was wondering if you would mind if I used your artwork in this piece as a base for 2 cubees (check out for full explanation of what a "cubee" is). Of course, you would be given full credit for the original artwork (along with a link to this fantastic piece).
Aside from the above request for permission, I do have one question regarding Amazette. Wouldn't Supergirl and Power Girl (while both are awesome and powerful characters unto themselves) be a bit redundant in the sense of copying powers? They're both original Kryptonian, so shouldn't they both have the same powers? I'm not aware of one having powers that the other doesn't, though I fully admit that I'm a bit behind on my DC readings. Just a random thought...
CallMePo Featured By Owner Mar 5, 2012  Professional Traditional Artist
I think I would kind of like to see them as cubees - as long as I get credit for the concept and people don't have to pay to download and make them.

As to Power Girl/Supergirl, they are essentially the same but there are enough differences to warrant the necessary assimilation of their abilities. Power Girl is actually more powerful and is immune to kryptonite due to her Earth 2 origins. Not to mention that when assimilated, not only powers and accessories get copied, but so do knowledge, skills and experience (which is why non-powered characters like Batgirl, Harley, Ravager and Catwoman got copied).

Notably, Power Girl and Supergirl are each others weakness. When they come in contact with each other their powers fail - a useful ability to have when you are fighting either of them.
MysterMDD Featured By Owner Mar 5, 2012  Hobbyist Artisan Crafter
Cubees: credit for the concept will definitely be given to you, as well as a link to your piece. Additionally, paying to download/build cubees violates the creator's terms of use (to say nothing of the fact that I can't see anyone being willing to pay for something that they have to print out and build themselves) so there are no worries on that point either.

PG/SG: that proves just how far behind I am. I was unaware that PG was immune to Kryptonite and the fact that they both cancel each other's powers out. Most of what I knew about Amazo came from various cartoon appearances, so I'm not at all surprised that it's not entirely consistent with the comic canon. Thank you for answering my question so thoroughly.
VampireSensei Featured By Owner Feb 28, 2012
This kind of reminds me of Soul Calibur...when you go to create a character and get a randomized one at the begining XD
Good job :)

While most have gotten it right on most spots, it seems most things the SAīs spikes on the arms are from Titania. I think itīs actualy from Phoenix II/Rachel summerīs original Hound outfit, what with the SA having some kind of shield.

I could be wrong though and the shield is Sue Richards forcefield.
Marvelninja Featured By Owner Feb 27, 2012
I thought that about the spikes too, but Rachel's changed her outfit since her days as a Hound, and her time with Excalibur, so Titania still seems like the best bet. I think you're definitely right about the forcefield though :D.
FanArtFantast Featured By Owner Feb 27, 2012
I know, but that outfit realy struck me as the more iconic of the ones she had. Of all the one i remember her having, that was the one that was uniquly hers. The others were just versions of her mothers old outfits.
Marvelninja Featured By Owner Feb 27, 2012
I agree, it really stood out among all the others I've seen in Excalibur or the X-Men for that time period. I have an issue of Excalibur where she's wearing it and dancing with Nightcrawler (all dolled up in a snappy tux, the sly devil :D). I have to concur with you that it's something that is uniquly hers, something that sets her apart from her mother's legacy as her own person, even if it carries a lot of bad memories with it.
FanArtFantast Featured By Owner Feb 28, 2012
Agreed. And it turne dout i was wrong. It was Titania. Oh well. :/

:jawdrop: ... I have seen the ultimate of all Amalgams, and it is glorious. :faint:

I have so much love for this ! So much love for this! I would pay through the nose to see this fight :w00t:!

Oh, and for the assimilations, I believe we have:

- Amazette: Power Girl, Catwoman, Big Barda, Wonder Woman, Mera, Harley Quinn, Star Sapphire, Black Canary, Supergirl, Batwoman, Hawkgirl, and the Ravager.

- Supra Adaptoid: Squirrel-Girl, Red She-Hulk, Titania, Valkyrie, X-23, Ms. Marvel, Black Widow, Rescue (Pepper Potts' armored alias), Thor-Girl, Spider-Woman, Invisible Woman, and Phyla-Vell/Quasar.

Am I right :D?
pskullv Featured By Owner Feb 26, 2012
I would pay to see that fight, regardless of the medium.
Shimaha Featured By Owner Feb 26, 2012
I recognise Invisible Woman's force field, Black Widow's belt, Spider Woman's cowl and pit webs, Ms. Marvel's top, Valkyrie's breasts, Tarene's hammer and headband wings, X-23's claws, Nega bands (whoever's wearing them now-a-days), Hepzibah's tail, female Iron Man's (Pepper Potts?) boots, Titania's arms. So I guess I'm just missing the stripey hair which doesn't remind me of Rogue.

I also recognise Hawkwoman's wings, barda's mace, Star Sapphire's ring, Black Canary's power, Supergirl's logo on Power Girl's top, Catwoman's whip and gogles, Mera's leggings, Deathstroke's boots, Batgirl's cowl with a touch of Harley Quinn, Harley's ruffs on the hands, at least. And of course Wonder Woman's lasso.

But I've not read a recent cominc in ages so I'm sure I'm off and I did have to look up some of them online. o.0

Supra-Adaptoid: Red She-Hulk (streaky hair), Spider-Woman, Valkyrie, X-23, Quasar (Phyla-Vell), Squirrel-Girl, Ms. Marvel. I'm drawing a blank on the boots, belt, and arm-spikes though...

Amazette: Hawkgirl, Wonder Woman, Supergirl, Power Girl, Big Barda, Mera(?), Catwoman (but she has no powers?), Laira (red lantern ring). Can't place the boots or the poofy things on her wrists.

I'm more familiar with DC's characters so I'll take a stab at Amazette:
Catwoman, Hawkgirl, Wonder Woman, Power Girl, Star Sapphire, Big Barda, Black Canary, Harley Quinn, Ravager, Supergirl, Mera (I'm not sure on that last one but the green pants remind me of her outfit).

As for Supra I see Ms. Marvel, Spider-Woman, Squirrel Girl, Valkyrie, and X-23. I'm not sure about the rest.
