I just read in the newspaper about how game-changing it is that Supergirl is now being drawn wearing bike shorts under her skirt.


Two things come to mind...

1 - Pick one Supergirl!
Shorts or skirt - no mixing... don't wear them BOTH AT THE SAME TIME!
That is such a major fashion faux pas!

2 - They say that the lack of panty-shots make her less prone to exploitation and a little less sexy... and as an artist I say NAY!

second WTF!! she has to wear a skirt she worn a shirk most her life!!! ALSO mostly adults read comics, why on earth they doing this? makes no sense really well DC lost touch with reality years ago anyway

you're right... completely asinine. I am so tired of people in this country running scared from f'ing cartoons with sexuality. between this, and the ruling saying that hentai = child porn i am just YEARG!!!!

lol, good point, I'm more partial to the skirt (hints the other pic of yours I colored,) but damn if you don't make a great argument for the new style :drool:

You know, its funny that DC took this long to come to the logical conclusion that a short skirt plus flight powers equals up skirt shots :-)

Back when Peter David was writing Supergirl, her solved the problem by simply saying that a one piece leotard with a skirt attached (one up skirt shot showed that her ';panties' were actually the same blue as her costume).

With her suit being a two piece now I guess you can't do that.

Now, what about Mary Marvel? ^_^
