Didn't make a deadline for a Starfire redesign contest but apparently I went too far and actually redesigned the character instead of just give her a new look - so I passed on the contest.

This one was based on a space pressure suit because Starfire was from a planet with a totally different atmosphere. Seriously, what are the odds that an alien world is going to have a similar atmosphere to Earth's?

that's what I was wondering lol. I'm hoping to do comics, and right now I simply do rough sketch, pencil in more detail, ink, erase the pencil, scan, clean up as much as I can with GIMP, and maybe color.
