Artist's Comments

Ok.. the name is a misnomer... but I was having some fun with real pencils - as opposed to my mechanical ones.

Prismacolor Verithins that a co-worker recommended to me.

... and wouldn't you know it, this pencil ROCKS!

Flows and is tough like a 2H, can be pressured like a 2B, and barely smudges.

I had to take it for a test drive and this is for those people who wonder what a page in my sketchbook looks like.

I don't remember Santa looking like that. As far as I'm concerned, it's an improvement.

I'll have my picture taken with Santa, only if that elf can sit on my lap. Ho Ho Ho!

Wow. You real artists have distinctions about pencils that I can barely comprehend. Very interesting. Nice sketch girl too.

Prismacolor Verithins huh? Guess I'll have to pick up a few of those for my drafting class, thanks for the info.

Yep, those pencils working fine. Of course the pencil-work isn't the one thing I'm focusing on in this sketch. ;) :D
