Actually a recent study showed that flu-shots saved on average only 1 day of illness, didn't cut down on the amount of hospital admissions, and are at best a guess as to which strain might be prevalent come winter.

Either there's a new strain of flu, or a bad batch of flu shots -- this seems to be happening all over. And with a real shortage of cute busty nurses, it's particularly tragic.

Here in NC the flu shot has been a total waste of time. Seems a new strand of flu virus is sweeping the nation and affecting just as many people who had the flu shot as those who didn't. Several deaths have already to blame on this new flu. Good luck to you, hope you feel well soon.
