This is pure, unfiltered win if ever there was such a thing.
The pose and expression are the perfect mixture of adorably sweet and gently seductive, and the soft lighting and simple structure give the whole piece a very earnest, intimate feel. I first got turned on to Power Girl during the Amanda Conner run - for me, it represented the perfect balance between serious storytelling and playful fun; something I've always felt was the heart and soul of comics as a genre. It tore my heart out when DC decided to throw away all that progress, and since then I've been trying to get my hands on as much pre-reboot PG stuff as possible (which is proving surprisingly difficult). This is definitely the sort of thing that any serious Power Girl fan can appreciate. It kind of feels like a personal "Thank You" from Kara for sticking by her through the years, even when her own creators don't.

Wonderful, adorable stuff.
