I made it up.

I used to draws transformers for a living so I guess that is what it may be based on.

can you help with that ? create hands of robot, i don't have such practice on mechanic of skeleton robotic, if you are available to help, do any sketches for me , and another problem are the knee and shoulder joints, no one are drawing such a thing =(

Rather give her the name of a good costume designer imo. I like how Marvel is giving her a push to stand alongside her male counterparts, but the costume just screams "trying too hard". Too many baubles, details, and whatnot in the uniform. Also, the hair is another issue (one of many on my list). I still believe the artist behind the redesign mistook Carol for Miraclewoman from the Alan Moore/Neil Gailman Miracleman comic and then added on other things after realizing who she really was. ^^; :doh:

Maybe its me, but I think some artists in the industry need to stop emulating the Jim Lee/Rob Liefeld/realism/Image costumes of the past and try to remember that "less is more" (as in less details, not less fabric to cover her body) and "this is a comic book, reality can take a back seat to creative art direction"....

Or, if you wanna make it simple, point to a wall full of DCnU characters in their gaudy outfits and tell them "NOT THAT!!!"

Wait, Carol Danvers is taking over the mantle of Captain Marvel? Hmmm. Well I guess the costume change isn't too bad under those circumstances. Still prefer her third Ms. Marvel look, though.
